Guild Wars 2 - the end of a free transfer
NCsoft, the publisher of the very popular MMO Guild Wars 2, has announced another update to its flagship title on January 28. This is good news for players who want to play on a single server with friends.
Guild Wars 2 is a very popular MMO by ArenaNet group, issued by the South Korean company NCsoft. That was announced the latest update to the game, and will no longer be available on Jan. 28. What does this mean for players?
The most important change will be the introduction of the "guest," or the possibility of hosting on other servers. This option will be of the same panel, which is made out of a transfer.
The "guestingu" will be subject to certain restrictions:
Hosting will be possible only on servers located in the same region as the home server. For example - gw2 gold players from Europe will not be able to host the servers in North America and vice versa.
Option WvW (World versus World, and so the battle between players from different realms) will not be available to the guest server. To participate in this type of gw2 gold game you will have to make a transfer.
You will be able to stay on two servers at the same time welcoming.
Entering the servers with the statuses "full" or "populated" may result in throwing the map overflow.
With the introduction of options on other servers hosting the changes occurring in the form of transfer options. After January 28 there will be no possible free transfer, and thus:
The transfer will have to be paid with the jewels.
The fee will depend on the degree of the target server population - the larger the population, the greater the fee.
Still present is a 7-day waiting period for the account transfer.
Players will not be able to transfer to the servers about the status of "full".
The main idea is to allow the announced updates to players having fun with friends in other worlds, without having to leave their home world. The official announcement of updates you can read here.
