ArenaNet plans to expand the development of WvW system
Guild Wars 2 Game Designer Matt Witter has published a small FAQ on the development of WvW system. In the post, he said that ArenaNet is not going to rest on our laurels and will continue to develop the system. First of all, they will put the WvW in the introduction to the Guild Wars 2 gold game new abilities and expand existing lines. The remaining information contained in the article was purely technical. Developers have made them clear that:
- No World XP with the recently dead character is quite normal
- Lowering the effects of previous levels of development works only in the lines Cannon Mastery and Ballista Mastery
- Objectives of jobs in WvW (Objective Leaders) are not subject to capacity and Guard Killer Defense against Guard
- Develop the capacity of Supply Capacity can increase the number of stores to 20

Alchemy 30, Fast-Acting Elixirs, indispensable for Elixir, CD off 20%; Cleaning Formula 409, drink or belt skills could remove some conditions instead of Elixir C; HGH, all elixirs offer 20 seconds Might, might be the heart of this build.
Skills: Elixir H, Elixir B, Elixir R, Grenade kit, all elixirs provide 20 seconds Might with CD off; Elixir H CD of 20 seconds, Elixir B CD of 32 seconds, providing Might’s Boon easily for a long time, and also, Elixir H could bring in stable healing, combined with Superior Rune of Adventure, bringing in continuous Vigor; and Rifle will also bring some might, combined with Direct Damages, all skills will gain most efficient damage; Elixir R could be switched to Elixir S in order to remove some Hold conditions, and Elixir S is a little better in some situation.

Any info on what will the march patch contain (PvE)?
I was looking for interviews or other sources however couldn't find something other than the living story one (which I think is lame & I do not care about the living story). I think we must know if there'll be anyhing considerable by now, so maybe this patch will be a PvP/WvW focused one?
Personally I honestly hope for an ingame LFG tool, I do not realize why it takes them so long to implement such a technique.
New WvW process with progression and the first real part of Flame and Frost story is the only data we have.
Quite possibly nothing fascinating or worth mentioning. Or...
Probably the Greatest patch EVER!!! Yeah! With laser beams, and lighting, and thirty-seven exclusive flavors of Legendary Weapons. Top-it off with a scoop of GvG in first ever 10vs10 match up! And Lodestones raining from the sky! & lots of Ectoplasm!
That, or just a boring WvW update. Hope they update the individual story and home instance soon though...

Guild Wars 2 players complained about the lags and disconnects problem
Guild Wars 2 is under great pressure by negative headlines due to massive lag issues at this moment. In the official forum, a corresponding thread has over 1,000 posts. In recent days, the community managers have called for data collection to address the problem and get to the bottom. Although the bottlenecks were identified, but a solution has not been found yet.
Since the latest update in February, many players of the online role-playing have reflected that the problem of frequent lags and disconnects from the servers. That appears to be primarily affected the telecom customers.
For this problem, Guild Wars 2 Community Manager Ramon Domke gives a guide on how to set up the port forwarding. He asked the concerned players to leave the online role-playing game and run on a trial basis through the online port 80, and then tell the results to the creators. But this method should not be used as a permanent solution which can only serve to isolate the fault.
The head of the global community team of Guild Wars 2, Martin Kerstein, has apologized to the players: "It is understandable that you are annoying when you can not play, but Internet routing is a complex matter, especially the portions which we have no direct control to."
Up to now, the problem is still not solved yet, we hope the ArenaNet will do their best to find the solution as soon as possible. And for our Guild Wars 2 gold players, what we can do is to wait patiently.

Guild Wars 2 so vicious?
... are fans of Guild Wars two so vicious? They're like attack dogs. :P
I see post after post of men and women either bashing or explaining their causes for disliking GW2. The snarky comments make sense on the posts whose main intent is to talk some trash & start a number of drama. Although, I have observed a number of men and women write well formulated critiques on their factors for disliking the game, and instead of seeing level-headed responses, I see attacks such as "You will not be missed".
This alone speaks volumes to me. I am personally a GW2 player, though not as my principal MMO, although a player however. But if I were a newcomer, I would most likely keep clear of this Guild Wars 2 gold game just because its community, as the majority represents on this forum, is vile.
I just can not comprehend why somebody would turn into so angry due to the fact somebody else dislikes their game. Who knows? Maybe should you supplied some realistic rebuttals, they'd stick around. And if they stick around, maybe their guild or buddies would come to the game or stick around, and so on & so forth. And despite GW2's undeniable success, every game desires a steady playerbase, even casual-friendly buy to play titles.
I do not mean this post as an attack on any one, rather an honest evaluation of what I've observed. I realize it possibly won't mean a factor, nor will it adjust anything, but it's worth a shot, right?
once you see the same precise individuals month after month after month post the exact same remarks about how much the game sucks and how much a piece of crap it is what do you expect genuinely?
just check out their history's not difficult to understand why those who take pleasure in the game get annoyed.. you can't even post a simple picture thread without individuals bashing the game.
also a lot of do not see lots of posts/threads that get taken down for trolling in the event you do not hang out here much you can miss plenty of those.
This is not GW2 gold or any game, it is the entire community. I am in the Neverwinter beta and the dripping hatred of the game gets pretty thick on the zone chat.
if it is not an individual attacking the game, they're attacking the devs, the publishers, the art. Does not matter the vitriol hate comes out loud and clear. Pick any game or forum, it is there.
This is just how the community is today.

Guild Wars 2: the changes ahead with The Gathering Storm
In the coming days a new patch for Guild Wars 2 gold will introduce interesting new features that will result Prelude. The Gathering Storm is the second part of the history of Flame & Frost and bring us to fight on the slopes of Shiverpick.
The continuation of the story when little is known, however what is known is the addition of a new map for pvp called Spirit Watch, surrounded by green valleys and shrines devoted to the wild spirits of the Norn. Other news for pvp concerns the matchmaking. The system will mate with opponents characterized more or less by our own rating, so you do not risk ending up slaughtered prematurely team a bit 'too professional.
With The Gathering Storm will be also added to the missions to be tackled together with their guild mates. These missions are designed to be carried out in a group and you will need to work together to get the new rewards.
Another novelty is the new changes to the system of the Daily Achievement, in fact you can sceglierceli to our liking, the higher the degree of challenge, the greater the reward.
The last (for now) notable addition will delight those Guild Wars 2 gold players who spend their time looking for the most beautiful skin for weapons and armor. Will then be possible to preview the pieces of equipment auctioned without having to throw more time looking videos or images on the web.

Flame and Frost, The Gathering Storm - February patch
Guild Missions really has me intrigued as well. Finally something else to do with my guildies! Can not wait to see it.
interested to see what the guild missions will be, but considering the size of my guild i dont think ill be doing much of them. Will be doing the Flame and Frost story stuff i guess. Also cool that they are springing another pvp map on us. Will without doubt check that out.
Saw it a few minutes ago, i hope the Flame & Frost story continuation is something far more substancial than in the last patch. Also curious to see how Guild Missions will work. Also kudos for picking out Day-to-day criteria. PvP does not interest me but i guess a new map is commonly good for the individuals that do.
All stuff seems pretty awesome & got me intrigued. I wanted more info on WvW since they promised something genuinely about it, having said that it may be in March, Also 1 of the most necessary factors is class balance/adjustments uniquely the "We want to make more builds viable" promise. Too negative they don't give details on those.

Guild Wars 2 is the finest game in 2012
ArenaNet hope Guild Wars could grow to be the zero cost man of MMO field rules, & can break the rules & redefine MMO game, you may wonder whether the game can made such achievements, whatever, the Guild Wars 2 is a impressive MMORPG.
Guild wars two "largely go the route in rather than world of warcraft . The game has cancelled the distinctive treatment of expert, goods distribution. Guild Wars 2 sacrifice many games depth, & grow to be as zero cost adjust, nonetheless, it has been more welcome by players.
Due to a somewhat immense change, great advertising activities and outstanding reputation, Guild Wars 2's efficiency acquire more attention even more than the Mists of Pandaria. Nevertheless, it could distinctive from what ArenaNet looking forward to be, this gw2 gold game is still in a MMORPG game, only quality & play looks better. In this regard, the Guild Wars 2 can but be regarded as a astonishing MMO.

Stay clear of GEM Shop, selling items that will not display, recognized the bug yet still on sale
EDIT: as a consequence of the very first replies below I must insist on the truth that it is impossible to turn on/off head gear display (see my screenshot below) & recognized as a general bug affecting plenty of players by the ANET moderator (see other screenshot beneath)
---
I paid for a pair of bunny ears, they took my revenue however item nonetheless will not display after all this time.
Same predicament with EVERY town clothing I own (pirate hat etc.). Town clothing head gear don't display anymore since before the update that introduced the "riding broom".
French community manager said ANET recognized this bug is affecting countless players, they'll resolve it but do not know when:
Which means...They know it's glitched but they are still selling these items(!!!) & don't know when a patch will come. I paid for an item that won't display, 15 days after & still no update / no news. They just take your income & that is it.
People, please do not purchase stuff from the GEM Retail outlet yet, it could not display, and they just won't care; I need to have never bought these stupid bunny ears to begin with..I am so stupid
They are selling invisible costume parts - how astonishing is that:
It's frustrating ain't it.
I'm more concerned with them herding everybody to the gem store to gear. Get gems to get gold effectively.if you are a new gw2 gold player beware you'll get ample drops until you hit that level 80. Then you can either join the Arenanetlotteryclub or the permaDR club. Most likely it will be the permaDR club where you will have factors like boss chests not appearing in dungeons or in meta events, you'll have a big adequate collection of porous bones from 30 minutes of doing an event in Orr to make your own Conan Skull Thrown, though earning gold? might as well hang it up. What is sad is you can take screenshots and videos of what happens to you and they know it is genuine they still do not do anything about it. It's been four months now since whatever happened to the loot is nonetheless happening, what do we see? they tell us it is an Xfiles conspiracy in spite of the evidence to the contrary. This really is the stingiest Guild Wars 2 gold game I've ever played.
It was a known dilemma with Rangers at least one.5 weeks ago. A.Net was the one who stated NOT to get since it won't show correctly not a player (that was on Reddit & their official forums). That is all it is. It is not a big deal, yet you went out of your way to make one. I do not get it.....

My vision of a "perfect" gw2
Start with the current base game (races & classes and traits and skill-sets).
The world is also rather nice.
Max level 20. Have the starting zones be level 1 - 15. Have a couple 15 - 20 zones. Then the rest of the world is level 20.
Have more workable builds for each class. As-is, you can check out a character and his weapons & have an extremely good concept of what he can do. There should be more choices accessible that really work.
Perhaps have more skill solutions or trait choices accessible, or have them conveniently and cheaply switched around.
Make more pvp possibilities. WvWvW is nice, although I spend FAR more time building castles than I do fighting. It really does need revamped. Make the maps smaller, which would force more fighting to take place.
More team pvp matches. Honestly, more pvp in general. I do not pvp consistently, but this game is very limited in comparison to gw1.
Have lots of cool cosmetics available as rewards for completing level 20 quests. Maybe other items, as well. That way individuals would have a real reason to keep adventuring.
I do not know anything concerning the dungeon process. Not certain if it desires something or not.
Oh yeah, have Real TUTORIALS. Clarify the basic principles of the Guild Wars 2 gold game. Don't just drop a new player into a tiny instance and let him drown. Uniquely for after you get crafting. Have a minimal quest that explains it and shows how it works (especially that you can swap professions and not lose any progress).
Just curious, on the other hand why level twenty as maximum?
On a private note, I don't PvP. At all. So, in my ideal GW2 world, there'd be no PvP. GW2 is unique points to one of a kind men and women
As for the tutorials: in the beginning, I hadn't a clue what to do & felt very lost. Four months in & trying not to check out spoilers or "how to's", I'm comfy in PvE and have figured out the crafting procedure. Now, I'm glad there is confined "coaching" - I prefer to work things out for myself if I can. However hey, that's just IMHO & not meant as a flame.
My ideal GW2 would have some alterations & I won't list them all *cough* culling *cough*
More diveristy in WvW maps, the BLs all being the same is nice in the concept of "fairness" but a minimal diveristy is much better I think. You could nonetheless have "fairness" with distinctive maps, it would just take longer to create 2 other exclusive maps & so they did not. & EB requirements to be spread out or add more underground tunnels for the reason that as it's everybody is forced into particular lanes and it promotes the zerg instead of supporting lots of little to mid sized groups being moble and ninja like.
Greatest thing I wish for (other than a culling resolve) is that you could capture unoccupied enemy siege. It would not be a speedy capture, although kind of like sentry 60 secs to take it & if interrupted you would are obliged to start all over. I know this will not take place so don't bother flaming me for it. However I just like the belief of being able to capture siege, I mean every night we take a tower or a keep where they have left golems just think about if we could make use of them instead of loling while we kill them.
I honestly like the everyday and monthly achievements as it supplies me a goal as well as a reward whereas most of the gw2 gold game itself is unrewarding. I too would love a re-vamping of the skill strategy as I hate having most skills tied to weapons. In case you are going to do this then allow me to swap between 4 weapon sets as in GW1. Also enable me to save builds (including all traits and skill-sets) & swap them whenever I am out of combat (I do not even care in case you charge me to do it). Finally give me mercenaries. Most of the world I play in is empty & commonly you just want an additional sword once you take on a champ or a boss. I'd even do dungeons more commonly if I could take mercenaries rather than spamming for a stupid pug. It is sad that in a number of approaches GW1 is superior to its successor.

Guild Wars 2 dev reflects on launch security concerns: "We're not done"
Guild Wars 2 developer ArenaNet saw the launch of its MMO hit by a string of server crashes, trading loopholes and security concerns, and gamers - as are wont to do - gave them hell for it. ArenaNet's game director Colin Johanson has shared his thoughts looking back at the game's launch, & has talked about how it has learned from what occurred to improve the game's stability moving onward.
As part of an interview you could read right here subsequent week, Johanson attempted to give the inside story on Guild Wars 2′s launch troubles, and to underline his studio's commitment to stable, reliable play.
"It's one of the hardest items you will ever do in the game market," he stated of MMO launches. "There are times where I am envious of developers who get to make offline gw2 gold games that don't have to cope with these sort of concerns, it's insane how complicated it is.
"Although we had a few hiccups on launch, for the most part I think we had an incredibly smooth launch once you contemplate the sort of player login rates we saw, & how rapidly we were able to respond to those issues. Our biggest issues at launch simply came from the sheer amount of concurrent users hitting each part of the game, even in our beta tests where we had rather big player populations we never were able to reasonably test any method with the kind of numbers we had for launch.
"Our betas led us to think everything was completely stable, although when we cruised past specific numbers places like the trading post, & one or two problems with the servers reared their ugly heads. Account thieves took their turn as well taking well known account names & passwords they had stolen from other games forums & employing them to attempt and get their hands on peoples accounts that did not defend themselves with distinctive passwords."
Indeed, a lot of 11,000 passwords were supposedly at the mercy of hackers at 1 point, although whilst the developer managed to clear up all difficulties in the end, Johanson remains firm that there is no room for ArenaNet to get slack. In truth, its work must continue apace.
"Looking back on those days," he recalled, "basically everything has not only been stabilised, though our capability to deal with them as improved considerably as well. Complications with connectivity, the trading post, and so on are now astonishingly rare. We've setup many account security measures and added the capability to restore accounts in the uncommon case something occurs, which is now extremely uncommon.
"We set a legacy with the very first Guild Wars we are going to live up to with Guild Wars 2, the total down time for the first game over seven-plus years is so small it is insane, and we have to be even better in Guild Wars 2. We hope you go your complete lifetime of the game with Guild Wars 2 & never see the message "Guild Wars 2 is right now down for maintenance".
"We are not done though, our security team, IT team, server programming team, and client support team will all continue to work proactively to make these parts of the game even more structurally sound than they already are. We don't ever want to stand still and say "great adequate, mission accomplished" we'll keep finding approaches to make our already extraordinaryly stable technique even more robust."
What's your view on the Guild Wars 2 gold launch backlash? Were a number of gamers to hasty to pass judgement on AreneNet without realising the scale of launching an MMO of its size, or must such a collapse have actually been pre-based upon the team? Let us know beneath.

Guild Wars 2 - the end of a free transfer
NCsoft, the publisher of the very popular MMO Guild Wars 2, has announced another update to its flagship title on January 28. This is good news for players who want to play on a single server with friends.
Guild Wars 2 is a very popular MMO by ArenaNet group, issued by the South Korean company NCsoft. That was announced the latest update to the game, and will no longer be available on Jan. 28. What does this mean for players?
The most important change will be the introduction of the "guest," or the possibility of hosting on other servers. This option will be of the same panel, which is made out of a transfer.
The "guestingu" will be subject to certain restrictions:
Hosting will be possible only on servers located in the same region as the home server. For example - gw2 gold players from Europe will not be able to host the servers in North America and vice versa.

Guild Wars 2 developer lays out 2013 plans
Guild Wars 2 got off to a wholesome start last year, but as we begin 2013 the team is looking ahead. ArenaNet has detailed several plans for the upcoming year, including ambitious additions to Guilds, PvP, and rewards.
A lengthy weblog post details the game's upcoming plans. ArenaNet says it is learned the best way to make better storylines from recent events, and desires to put those plans into action. Namely, it says it will offer gw2 gold players better incentive to explore new sectors, which will foster socialization. These incentives will incorporate daily achievements to earn tokens for rewards, more reward types comparable to the recent Ascended and Infusion varieties, titles, medals, and unique skins.
Other plans include new guild quests with rewards, an overhaul to the PvP and its rewards procedure, redesigned boss encounters, new sorts of achievements, new security measures, a better introductory experience, and a range of other fixes.
1 factor you won't see is another tier between Ascended & Legendary, after the team faced complaints from the last shake-up. If a different tier comes, it will not be this year. "Our objective will be to use our existing reward strategies & boost new ones which are fun and exciting that step away from the stale gear grind reward methods you see elsewhere."

Guild Wars 2: ban players for operating a bug
ArenaNet and NCsoft just make a final wave of bans players from Guild Wars 2, those who have exploited a bug to duplicate a rare and have realized significant profits by selling the Guild Wars 2 gold game on the market
MMORPG known and appreciated by fans of the genre, Guild Wars 2 is currently facing a relatively embarrassing concern: the exploitation of a bug in the game by many players to draw serious profits. This operation will result in a massive and permanent banning many players by ArenaNet and NCsoft.
This bug allows you to duplicate a rare object, the ball of ectoplasm, through the recycling process resource snowflake combined with other resources such as Mithril. The cost of operation is very low, the players aware of the high probability of duplication of the ball of ectoplasm have given their heart, before placing them on the gaming market to derive maximum benefits.
ArenaNet has decided to get tough with these abuses, indicating that the use of this method - even if it is a bug inherent in the game - is akin to cheating. As a result, many gw2 gold player accounts were permanently banned.
This decision was particularly severe drawing the ire of players on the game forum, stressing that it is only to exploit the game in its current state, it would not be wrong. John Smith and Gaile Gray ArenaNet do not hear it that way, pointing out that the trick destroys the game economy:
"Perform this action hundreds and hundreds of times, this is called the exploitation and it is contrary to the rules of conduct and user agreement."
Of course, the developer develops a path patch to avoid repeating the feat again and having to hunt down cheaters banned. On the current wave of bans, the exact amount has not been disclosed.

Guild Wars 2: ArenaNet commented on the exploits
ArenaNet has the official forum of the online role-playing game "Guild Wars 2" once again dedicated to the exploit issue after last many accounts have been blocked.
After the leaders of ArenaNet announced a few days ago reported that due to a massive use of in "Guild Wars 2" discovered snowflakes exploits had to block several hundred accounts, the company went further in a recent forum post in detail and assured that only gw2 gold players excluded were that struck in a special degree.
"The important (and dangerous) aspect of it, this exploit is TAKE ADVANTAGE - where it has its name in English (to exploit, utilize something)," the company said. "Now that we are shortly after release handled very sharply with the Karma exploit, we have assured you more cautious in future proceed with account blocking. Just as it could not want anyone 'provided for' an exploit was used, but without exploiting it (for his own benefit / or to the detriment of others). "
"In the most recent case, it was not possible to take advantage of the exploit unknowingly and accidentally. And no accounts have been blocked, who recycled the odd Schneflocken recipe. We're talking about 200 accounts that have taken advantage of this exploit is almost a professional manner - and thereby have performed thousands of re-exploitation. "
"We want to confuse you not - not quite. But if you are in the game to jostle something that "sounds too good to be true" then it's probably. And I'm not talking about times just above the fog to travel (here we exchange almost the simplicity of a loading screen to the trouble to take three to four loading screens in purchase) or to park his character to a vegetable (which is blocked this character permanently, if he is not there) away. "
"I'm talking about a completely different level, eg the the Guild Wars 2 gold game industry can permanently damage - and thus visible to all players long. E.g. if 1% of all players have 99% of ecto-stocks, as they have appropriated by this exploit, and now dictate the price -. due to a seemingly inevitable purchasing power "
"In short, we want to do with our line against exploits the game does not break and you take the fun of it - quite the contrary. We want to ensure that it remains fair in the long run - for all players. Please report directly to exploits on suspicion exploits@arena.net - and uses them not from himself. "

'Guild Wars 2' Says Goodbye to Wintersday Content In New Update
The world of Guild Wars 2 returns to usual with the removal of Wintersday content.
Wintersday is over, & Guild Wars 2 has been patched up to remove the content that seemed like a permanent fixture in the world of Tyria for close to a month. The presence of Toymaker Tixx & his presents & toys made up a major part of the Lion's Arch experience.
With Christmas over and done with, a brand new update has been issued to remove the aforementioned content, so you won't find mysterious presents spawning in the middle of nowhere now that they are gone. Moreover, you won't have the ability to purchase Wintersday items from the Black Lion Trading Company Gem Store anymore.
On the other hand, ArenaNet notes that the Wintersday Merchant will stay in Lion's Arch for a while longer, so gw2 gold players will have a last chance to exchange their old socks and hats for Wintersday gifts.
The update comes with a nominal fix for the Mesmer, whose Shatter abilities now share a international 0.25 2nd recharge, to prevent countless shatter effects triggering on the same illusion. The Mesmer's Shattered Strength trait now grants 1 stack of may per illusion shattered, so the character will need to be a nominal beefier in combat.
